WebThere are a few variables to this as it's not an exact science, but in general we recommend 20 to 40 times your display tank's volume. This will give you a target goal to aim towards as you decide on powerheads for your tank. The higher target goal will be a good starting point for SPS dominant tanks, and the lower better for soft corals and LPS.
