WebOct 25, 2009 · Ian Gillan's vocal problems are almost as legendary as his incredible vocal range. The first disc here, the Rainbow 1981 show is a great example. Ian sounds very good through much of the show, but he clearly struggles in other places. He barely makes it through Future Shock intact, stretching his voice to its limits.
