I play his '61 SG reissue thru it, no pedals, amp volume on 4'-5 (so loud!) and that edge of breakup ( Dickie Betts sweetness/ with drive) is there! So maybe CTS, or Jensen? Last thing you need is speakers that put out a lot of volume at one watt.
