WebSep 10, 2015 · We propose that service providers and policy makers support the role of the young mothers’ own mother, sisters, their grandmothers and aunts following early motherhood. Such support from significant females will help facilitate young mothers’ re-engagement with education, work and other aspects of life. WebFor many pregnant teens, it can be difficult to access the resources needed to ensure healthy birth outcomes, such as healthcare education, baby care supplies and a dependable support network. These young women need additional care during and after pregnancy more than ever at this age. We get it, and we want to help.
